About iGrad. Financial Literacy Made Simple.

iGrad was borne of a desire to provide young adults the opportunity to thrive financially by providing a community with intuitive tools, resources, and content to help them succeed financially.

iGrad was first conceived in 2008, when former executives from the student loan industry came together to discuss how recent graduates were drowning in debt, having a difficult time finding employment, and had no real place to turn to find relief. The conversation quickly turned to the federally required student loan entrance and exit counseling sessions that students who took out federal student loans were forced to take and schools were required to provide. While these tools were meant to provide some level of financial literacy as well as to communicate the rights and responsibilities of having federal student loans; these entrance and exit counseling sessions provided no real-world value.

Enter iGrad. The first and only interactive community providing the federally required student loan entrance and exit counseling in an environment that allows young adults to learn, grow and become responsible consumers.

Our core philosophy; Take what once was a useless 30-minute exercise and transform it into a long-term relationship.

We hope users will leverage this site on a regular basis to give and take content so that young adults all over our country can make wise financial decisions and achieve their life goals.
